DAY 012 – DESIGNING DANGEROUSLY
Tap into your history
If we (and our intersection with story) are a product of our past experiences and decisions, the past is both relevant and distinct. Our experiences, biases, and joys become (to use a music analogy) the overtones to our fundamental self, the way our artistic voice is distinct and known from others. Two designers can agree on the synopsis and root meaning of a play, but it is the minutiae, the micro varieties in how we read a line or connect with a past experience with which we color our world.
